The compact & weatherproof, pole mounting Diginova aerial is classified as high gain. The high performance is generated via a UHF Yagi type aerial with 10 elements and a BIII and FM aerial consisting of a printed dipole, both connected to an MDR amplifying UHF (13dB), while coupling together BIII and FM.
Operates in passive mode but can be used with an optional 12 volt PSU to increase the gain upto 20dB if required.

Choosing your Aerial Group
UHF Aerials are available in 4 Groups:
Group A Covers Channels 21-34
Group B Covers Channels 39-53
Group C/D Covers Channels 48-68
Group W Covers Channels 21-68 (wideband)
The above channel groups are in relation to your local Transmitter Broadcasts, we advice you to check this out if you are in doubt.
Aerial Sizes:
Aerials are generally quoted by the number of elements they contain ie. 10, 18 etc. A simple rule of thumb is The more elements the aerial has, the more gain the aerial will produce. Aerials which are required for digital reception must have a Balun (mathching transformer), these are clearly labelled in our product descriptions.
