"Which channels can I receive and which receiver do I need ?"
...
This is the most common question we are being asked at present. Due to the BBC and ITV channels going free to air, and recent changes in the free
to view card situation there are a couple of options depending on which channels you require.
1, Using a Free To Air (FTA) Receiver
Technomate FTA,
Televes, ect
Channels available - BBC1 ,2 ,3, 4,
BBC News, Cbeebies, CBBC, BBC Parliament, BBC Alba, ITV1, 2, 3, 4 Channel4, Five, S4C Digidol, E4, More4, Film4, Euronews, France24, Russia Today, Al Jazeera, Men & Motors, Movies4Men, CNN
International, Bloomberg TV, The Vault, Chart Show TV, B4U Music, Tiny Pop, Zone Reality, Zone Thriller, True Movies and various Shopping Channels - QVC, TV Shop, Ideal World, etc, etc - this list
is subject to change
These channels can be received
free (no card required) using a Free To Air satellite receiver from most countries in Europe as long as you have the correct dish size.
2, Using a Sky Digibox
Channels available - As above, but with the possibility of adding any of the Sky Digital channels as long as you take out the relevant Sky subscription package.
Sky subscription packages are available to UK residents who reside in the UK and are controlled via Sky themselves - we cannot provide this service.
Sky digiboxes are not made specifically for use abroad - only by testing them in the far reaches of
the satellite footprint do we find that certain models perform better than others. The models we find suitable for this purpose are clearly labelled in our online store.
